About
I’m Andy. I recently graduated from Carleton College with a degree in Computer Science (with distinction!) and am now working as an Analyst at RedJack.
I also study a lot of Arabic.
If you want to get in touch with me you can email me or find me on GitHub, Twitter, or even Facebook.
I also have a resume available.
Programming
I’m a 2012 graduate of Carleton College with a degree in Computer Science.
I’ve taken a lot of courses and worked on a few projects, but I’m currently interested in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and web applications.
I also worked as an Assistant Systems Administrator through school.
Currently I’m an Analyst at RedJack, where I work on projects involving large scale data analysis and network security in the public and private sector.
You can take a look at my projects to see some of the more interesting things I’ve worked on, or you can check me out on GitHub.
Arabic
I like Arabic. A lot. The language, the people, the music, the culture, the politics, whatever.
At Carleton, I took every Arabic class offered (and more!). I also worked as a teaching assistant for the department.
In Fall 2010, I went to Lebanon to study Arabic and explore the country. It was really awesome — one of the best experiences of my life.
This past summer, I studied Arabic on the Critical Language Scholarship Program in Amman, Jordan. It was a lot of work, but I spoke a lot of Arabic.
